I did this community service over spring break going on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for four hours. While being there I teach kids how to counter attack, how to defend counter attacks, and how to defend free kicks. Usually I set them up a few drills to work on and after an hour and a half; we let them do a scrimmage to see what they have learned and to let them take the drill to the real thing. I have had an amazing time at this site and will probably return to do more. The service of Grassroots Soccer has bettered my skills in working with kids of all ages.
In the mince of that I was training with to personal trainer in between the workouts during the summer. I learned how to work out with proper technique so I won’t hurt myself while lifting and help me prevent injury during the season. I also enjoyed teaching others to lift the right way and it helped the greatly because their strength greatly blossomed. It gave me the confidence that I was doing it right myself too. In the end to show my coaches before my season of my senior year that I was ready to play with the big dogs I showed my hard work.

This session also assists in preventing pulled or torn muscles. Saturday’s session is then concluded with skills training to further develop the essential skills for touch football. The rest day on Sunday is vital for the body to recuperate after a tough week of training. Also this recuperation day is necessary for the body to be ready for the next week of training. Each day is started by an appropriate warm up and finished with a warm down.

For instance, i believe it is always good to include 15-30 minutes of cardio to any exercise routine. This does not necessarily mean that you have to lift weights either.

This is probably very common in patients. Many people know they should lose weight, or quit smoking, or cut down on their drinking but they lack a plan to help them achieve their goal. By helping a client come up with their own plan, instead of making suggestions and using the “righting reflex,” the client is able to create a plan that is reasonable for them. If a client creates their own plan, they will be more likely to stick to it. In this video, I learned how to help a client create their own plan.
If someone eats junk food all the time and that person’s mother or friend told him/her to eat healthy, it’s less likely that he/she will listen to them, but if he/she admires Jamie Oliver and he suggests to eat healthy, then there is more possibility for that person to follow what he says.
