The best strategy for sticking to goals is to keep track of your progress by writing it down everyday. (Air force handout)   The very act of writing down activities has been shown to improve results. This allows you to learn more about your habits and stay accountable to yourself. This will also allow to keep track of all your progress and any setbacks you may encounter in your oncoming endeavor. Hello my name is , and this letter is to teach you how to get your weight under control through two different activities. I personally understand that it can be very frustrating and tiresome trying to loss weight. I understand this because I just had a baby, and I was very unhappy about how much I weighed while I was pregnant. Even though I was ecstatic about becoming a mother I was not happy with the weight I had gained; I had gone from 140 pounds to 213.6 pounds.   So Jessica, I understand one hundred percent about what you going though. This letter is designed and personalized for you to help you achieve your goals.
Your overall goal is to loose 20-30 lbs in 6 months in a safe and healthy manner.   You will accomplish this by following a diet and exercise plan that will be outlined in this letter.   You will also keep a written log of what you have eaten, how you exercised, and what/if any milestones you accomplished that day or week.   Now that we have established your goal let’s learn how you will accomplish it.
First ask yourself are you willing to complete this goal? Next, are you able to work toward the goal?
