With it being the time for the strategic planning for this facility, we will explain our plans for the yearly assessment. Also, we will describe what leadership positions there will be in the planning and what there responsibilities will be. Along with strengths and weaknesses there are also market trends that we are going to have to follow. In the strategic planning we will be using the SWOT analysis. “SWOT analysis is a strategic planning method used to evaluate the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats involved in a project or in a business venture. It involves specifying the objective of the business venture or project and identifying the internal and external factors that are favorable and unfavorable to achieve that objective.” (Buchbinder & Shanks, 2011). better. With new strategic planning we are going to need some leadership within the hospital to help with the planning and also helping to help sell this to the employees of the hospital. The individuals that we are going to need for this are at least 2 of our managers from the hospice, residential care, independent living, and in-home nursing. These are the programs that we want to make better then we are going to need the people in charge of those programs to let us know what we need to do to make them better. The other two positions that we are going to have are the people in charge of the trauma center, and the pulmonary services. We want this because our trauma center is a major one and the areas we are in we do not want that to change so we at least have to keep that the same if not make it better. The pulmonary center is an excellent one; it is also one that we are known for so we want to keep that up to
