Before they becoming successful international company there have faced some challenges, for examples lack education of worker and poor management. Besides, Haier also have lack of quality controls and dilapidated infrastructure. 2) 4 strategies that have implemented to compete in global business. Haier become the international business because it has strong strategies. First, leadership. The young Zhang Ruimin as director of Haier have creative idea and take decision to have joint venture with Qingdao Refrigetor Co. in this way, the technology can be shared. And also Zhang Ruimin and his colleagues have mastered being unreasonable and inspiring at the same time; perhaps because their “unreasonableness” has always been in the pursuit of “inspirational” objectives. Second, Haier have strong brand name which have high quality products who always focus on their customer. And also everything that Haier has boarded on over the past 30 years has been with the ever-changing customer firmly in mind. Every strategic vision has been aimed at serving this customer better than before. Next, Haier take alternative to have joint venture with other. This consolidation, once established and profitable in China with annual growth rates of 75% or higher. Then Haier start to expand its business to Indonesia and also India. Lastly, staff with locals. When entering a new market the first stage is to use the right people to establish the right structure.
