The Large Hadron Collider: Great or Dangerous? The best-seller author Dan Brown's "Da Vinci code" enjoyed considerable currency during last few years. This sensastional fiction had mentioned about there is a brilliant scientists in the laboratory successfully creating a new thing, which is antimatter, when it meets matter, it would produce great energy to destroy a city. However, the antimatter had disappeared, this is a story with a quirky twist. Of course, this is the scenario that to attract the readers, nobody will treat this "antimatter" seriously. However with the running of "The Large Hadron Collider" (which also called LHC), there were two people in America take a legal action toward this experiment to the superior court. This world number one biggest science experiment got people's focus on it. But more than exciting, actually there are more people worry and afraid about it. Let's talk about what is LHC, "The Large Hadron Collider" (LHC) is the world's largest and highest-energy particle accelerator, a synchrotron intended to collide opposing particle beams of either protons at an energy of 7 trillion electronvolts (1.12 microjoules) per particle, or lead nuclei at an energy of 574 TeV (92.0 µJ) per nucleus (wiki). Physicists want to use it to prove the big bang theory and solve some basic problems in particle physics. However the starting of LHC which located in Swiss have not only argues on money but also the safety of six billion human beings' lives. As many modern technology experiments does, LHC cost a lot of money, but this money come from the scientist nor some big company but is the tax payer which is us.
