If complaints are not responded to by staff appropriately then the service and the service provider will not improve. 3.2 Identify the main points of agreed procedures for handling complaints All complaints whether the complaint is by the service user or family members are dealt with in the same way. There are important steps to follow when a complaint is made within my establishment. They are able to choose how they want their social care support to be delivered. Privacy Every person has the right to some personal space where they can be alone, if they wish. Some people may want to have a private moment to themselves. With toileting on the ward, some people may won’t a commode instead of going out to the toilet. Unit 4222-374 promote active support Outcome 1 Understand how active support translates values into person centred practical action with an individual Compare the characteristics associated with active support and the hotel model in relation to an individual’s support The characteristics of active support basically means to draw the individuals into their plan of care and to include them into any decisions being make about them. This basically goes back to treating an individual in a holistic way and treating them as a whole and make sure they are encouraged into activities and to promote independence. The ‘Hotel model’ just means that certain things are done with no real consent and everything is done for them, which means the individual may lose some independence and the ability to care for themselves. So a comparison would mean stating which model is bes for the individual and why that comparison is the best. Identify practical changes that could be mad within a service setting to promote and individual’s independence In promoting individual independence, the aim would be to develop confidence with well-being.
Making sure they are properly labelled is very important as unmarked containers could be easily used incorrectly and the improper substance could cause injury to anyone involved. Also making sure that the substances are kept in acceptable conditions is important, for example some medication is required to be chilled, and so keeping them in a secure and locked fridge would be the only way to secure them safely and to keep them working as well as they possibly can. •Using hazardous substances All hazardous substances should be handled with care, this includes reading the on the label before use, never mixing different substances together, as this can cause very noxious gases and damage you or anyone in the vicinity. You should also only use a substance if you have been trained to do so, which includes using the proper PPE like rubber or latex gloves when using general cleaners as some chemicals can be absorbed through the skin and cause injury or illness. Also, if you encounter any difficulties when using a product then it should be reported immediately to the appropriate person and recorded in the accident book if necessary.

Both in my cleaning company and my marketing business I am expected to not only be prepared properly but to keep accurate records and confidential information of my clients. My marketing clients except me to keep their business information a secret and not give away any hints of their marketing plans to other competition. My cleaning clients expect me to keep their home security information secure and trust me to report to them any concerns regarding the maintenance of their homes. This ethics game simulation was a great tool that assisted me in learning the principles from this class. The ethics simulation helped me better understand the differences between the lenses.
Documentation is also important too because you need to keep records of any financial reports for the company for internal and external auditing that is done, it should kept on file as well on file in with the computer too for safety reasons. Independent internal verification would be put into place because you have to make sure that the data is correct for your business, and if anything is wrong it should be reported and corrected right away. Lastly I would want to bond my employees because I would want to make sure that my employees can be trusted to handle money and if any were to happen I everything would be covered for everyone involved. The way that my managers would use the financial information would be to determine how much salaries would be for employees as well as how much money would go into purchasing goods for the company too. All these things would determine how much revenue would come into the business and how much we lose as well.

Although the entrance to the house was legal, they were completely aware that there were persons in the residence. The officers should have continued to call out making their presence known until receiving an answer from the defendants instead of continuing to search room to room after hearing no response from the only single announcement made as they entered the house. The expectation of privacy would lead our clients to believe that their personal
