I sat several times to write this speech. Each time I would write a sentence I always ended up deleting it. I couldn’t find the right words to say and I didn’t know what exactly to share with you. This didn’t happen because I didn’t have what to say but I couldn’t find decent words to describe my experience   at T.I.S. There are no such great words to describe the past four years I have spent in this community. A community that has invested so much for me, a community that I have been lucky to be part of. I decided to join T.I.S. as a high school student but at first I was not very sure if I wanted to enroll in this school. My mum had been in touch with the school’s curriculum and staff before and she loved it and she was sure that I would fit perfectly in the T.I.S. community. I decided to listen to my mum and try the school out myself. As in every other time my mum proved to have made the right choice for me, again. I would like to thank her profoundly and not only her but my entire family. I would like to thank them in front of you all today and let them know that I appreciate everything they have done for me. I have been lucky to be part of this family and share with them the happiest moments of my life. I would like to let my parents know that I appreciate all the sacrifices they have done for me and hope to never let them down in my life. I would like to thank them for walking with me all these time through my journey and that have assured me to be there for me in the new journey I am about to start. Thank you mum and dad for always being there for me but please it is time to let me go. (joke) I am honored to have parents like you by my side and there is no one in the world that I would replace you with. I appreciate all you have done and I think no words can ever thank you enough.
