1.2 person centered values are important with care plans as Care planning is all about improving the lives of those who receive care. A person centered approach is fundamental to achieving high quality care, both for staff who implement care plans and for service users and their families who rely upon them. The emphasis must always be on the service user as an individual, with aspects of aspects of their unique qualities helping to inform the care plans, such as their life history, likes and dislikes, and experiences. Creating a care plan that ensures that person centred values are met will make all the difference when considering an individual’s ability to understand,
Working in the Health and Social Care industry I think the most important thing is the service users and our health and social care workers and their happiness. The more I reflect and enhance my own knowledge the more effective the learning and training will be. We also have to take responsibility for our own behaviour on people that we manage and train and encourage them to show positive behaviour too. 1.2 – Analyse potential barriers to professional development There are a number of barriers within my role. Actions are set that identifies what need to change and who will do this by when. 1.3 Person-centred thinking can make a huge difference to individuals and their families. It gives them a feeling of being important, of being part of the decisions that are made. Sometimes when people have to leave their own homes or lose some of their mobility, they can feel very alone.
A wise human service professional, manager, and case worker will think globally but act locally by taking into consideration the political, economic, social, and technological trends (Lewis, Packard, & Lewis, (2007e), p. 26). Hale Kipa goes beyond current trends to ensure the functions of the organization are up-to-date. In conclusion Hale Kipa has the characteristics of a traditional organizational structure. Profit or non-profit organizations need a budget to function and to continue to deliver services to their targeted population. Hale Kipa is a human service organization that is designed specifically to provide services to Oahu’s Youth.
In some parts of my country, I believe culture still exists and is taken seriously. The sociobiology approach of culture explores how the history of evolution has shaped pattern of cultures in today’s world. I believe that social interactions play a huge role in the formation of identity. Having an identity is very important. It gives a person stability in a world where everything seems to be continually changing.

Being socially responsible means that people and organizations must behave ethically and with sensitivity toward social, culture, economic and environmental issues. Striving for social responsibility helps individuals, organizations and governments have a positive impact on development, business and society with a positive contribution to bottom-line
Ownership - Self-directed support not only supports people to have more choices in their lives, but full ownership of their lives. Ownership implies more than just decision making. It means the individual is the final and total authority on their own life. Opportunity – Many people have limited opportunities to experience many aspects of life. Self directed support expands those opportunities e nabling and encouraging individuals to explore the possibilities that are present within their communities.
Workers’ rights are at the very core of our democracy and are necessary for a vibrant, sustainable society. The purpose of this paper is to envision the future and answer the opening question.
