Do you hate cleaning your room? When was the last time you organized it? How often do you lose things in your room? Living in a clean environment is crucial to your health and safety. You have a higher chance of succumbing to allergies if your house is dusty, and you also run the risk of injuring yourself as you climb over things left sitting out. Although you may be lazy or not know how to start, spring cleaning is a fun and fairly simple set of tasks that can be finished quickly and easily. Once you start cleaning, you will find that putting the broom down may be harder than expected. Also, tackling a project like this will help you learn responsibility. For example, you take a look at your bedroom and find discarded trash, unwanted clutter, broken or outdated technology, misplaced toys or other items, and dust. You may ask yourself how you allowed the area to get this dirty. Regardless of the answer, you must accept your responsibilities and get started. You will need to purchase very little to clean if you do not have common household utilities lying around. Trash bags are essential when collecting trash or unwanted items such as clothes or toys, so you must have some of those. You will also want either a vacuum (for carpets) and/or a broom (for tile, wood, or laminate floors). Other things you should have include: a place of storage for unused objects, multi-surface bathroom cleaner, and several empty shoe boxes to help organize. A few rags could be helpful tools as well, along with large plastic bins for things that are not in their places. If you cannot reach your ceiling fan or the corners of your ceiling, you will need a stepstool or stepladder. Whether or not you have a restroom and a walk-in closet, you always want to start cleaning in the largest room, so in this case, you are going to begin in the bedroom itself.
