There are seventy honey bees living in a hive, and they each have different job or duty to do in the hive, but they all are part of the one group, the hive. This is the same way that a network operates. A network can consist of many different devices ranging from a smart phone all the way to a satellite floating around somewhere above the Earth’s atmosphere. The incredible thing about a network is its users, whether it is a school or the federal government, can share in formation, software, data, and hardware with each other; resulting in the saving of precious time and money. Then, there are different types of network, which include local area networks and wide area network. A location area network, or an LAN, consists of networks that exist in homes, schools, and small businesses. The devices found in these locations are usually small devices like smart phones, laptops, and personal computers. On the other hand a wide area network, or WAN, is quite larger than being made up of anything from a satellite done to a smart phone. The biggest WAN in the world is known to us as the internet, and that alone should put into perspective just how big a WAN can be. A network is what will allow me to upload this homework!
Sally would most defiantly be better off with a Table PC for her real estate job considering how much she travels. One of the biggest reasons is a Tablet PC, which is a type of netbook, can access the internet from about anywhere, because the PC connects to cellular signal; this is a perk reserved to netbooks. On top of this, Tablet PC has touch screen capabilities, which makes it quite a bit easier to edit pictures. Plus, the Tablet PC is quite a bit smaller than your standard laptop, so it is easier to transport from place to place. If I were Sally I wouldn’t think twice about which I would pick.
John, a worm and a Trojan House are both types of computer viruses, but I think you probably already knew that. What you probably didn’t know though is that...
