Briefing Report Global governance is a powerful mechanism of globalization, which is responsible for society and world discipline. The globalization of politics, trades, globalization of businesses, financial, cultural, security globalization, these all processes have positive influences, reflecting on expanding and improving further the international cooperation, and at the same time have negative sides, which can lead to the global crisis in modern civilization. Nowadays, more and more different concepts are discussing on developing the effective global governance in political science. For example, the report of Council on Foreign and Defense Policy in 2001 highlighted four main approaches included to global governance. The first approach and less realizable called «world government». This concept is about solving the political issues not on national level, but on the global level. The second approach is reformation of existing UN system to increase the effectiveness of the United Nations Security. Next approach which was highlighted in report is the political governance with global development accomplished by powerful countries. And finally, the last approach to global governance is to apply the global corporate standards, which seems more perspective and most probable. Nowadays, the future of companies mostly is determined by the quality of corporate governance, which is considered as the one of effective ways of attracting the investments into companies, and hence improving the investment climate in country. Before going to the history of global corporate governance, I would like to give a definition of corporate governance.
