I chose this topic because they are the reason why I love k-pop which is my hobby and I have many things I could say about them and I also want to dedicate this research paper to my parents for always supporting me on my hobby and making me happy always and to those people who support Girls’ Generation no matter what happens or what might happen in the future, supporting them wholeheartedly and never leaving SNSD by their side and loving them forever. (영원히!! 소녀시대) III Abstract In Korean, Girls' Generation is called So Nyeo Shi Dae (Korean: 소녀시대). They are also referred to as SoShi (소시) or SNSD, both abbreviated forms of the group's Korean name. The name Girls' Generation means that "The generation of girls’ domination has come." This group has now conquered worldwide kpop fans, they are now considered as the National Girl Group of South Korea as you can see nowadays they’ve been having concerts around the world and currently having their “Japan 2nd Arena Tour” last month till this month. On April 19, 2012, SM Entertainment officially announced the creation of the Girls’ Generation subunit, Girls’ Generation–TaeTiSeo, composed of Taeyeon, Tiffany, and Seohyun.
