Robert Oppenheimer was more than that; he was human. Any man would struggle with himself due to the nature of his invention and the devastation that it caused. It was simultaneously glorious and regrettable. Never before had an invention been so groundbreaking, so impressive; yet, at the same time so universally and unequivocally destructive and fundamentally evil. So yes, Oppenheimer was proud of contribution to one of the greatest scientific breakthroughs in history.

In the rant called “The Smart Gap,” Eric Maisel explains his personal opinion on brain power of individuals. Grit, however, isn’t something that he believes will help people find success. Although some may not agree with what was stated, Maisel brings up many persuaded key points to help get his point across. Throughout Eric Maisel’s rant, many key points are brought up. First, he explains that we will experience emotional pain when we recognize that the work we would love to do might just be unavailable enough to make us doubt that we can proceed.
Creon should not continue as king because he is not a very good leader, he is too stubborn and proud, believes in different laws and gods as his people. For instance, Creon was not a great leader that Thebes deserved. A good leader is someone who considers the impact of what he says and does on others. Creon makes all of his decisions on his own and would not admit that he is wrong. Creon wants the people to obey him and respect him, but he has not given them a reason to.
People in such organizations operate in a “win-lose” framework and believe they must work against (rather than with) their peers to be noticed. An overly competitive culture can inhibit effectiveness by reducing cooperation and promoting unrealistic standards of performance (either too high or too low). I never had to compete with another engineer but sometimes you have to call on a senior engineer for help. You never want that person to out shine you in front of your customer. People who dwell on their deficits may envy and resent others who have more than they do. Some people who are unable to overcome social shortcoming fantasize about obtaining any means, good or bad, to satisfy every need and greed. Prevention of these instances is essential to living in a life filled with satisfaction and peace, away from evil. Berry’s article draws attention of the audience because we live in a society that barely looks up for reasons for not buying not only computers, but also any other technological advance. We live on a pro technology world. Past generations might always seem technology as an enemy because it is hard for them to catch up with technology. Berry’s intention to persuade readers depends whether the reader agrees or disagrees with his reasons.
They feel that they do not have time to take care of themselves, so they continue to hesitate between these two spaces.
