Garden Of Tranquility Have you ever been in the state of awe? Have you ever witnessed something so breath taking, which you were unable to move. Something so majestic that you think to yourself, “Am I really here?” There are such places in this world that make your jaw drop and your imagination race to unforeseen places. Places no other than the wide-open outdoor wilderness of Alaska. Alaska is the forerunner of nature’s beauty. From the mountain peaks to the valley floor, Alaska has something to show. Most of Alaska’s beauty is deep within the earths crust. This beauty is a tangible object, called gold. Have you ever been gold mining in Alaska’s frigid summers? Well its one of the most alluring places you’ll ever see. There is no place like Alaska. Alaska is home to many different indigenous species of animals that thrive on the baron landscape. Elk and moose prowl for the first bloom of shrubs growing rapidly in the break of spring. Herds of elk run through prairies and through the tall untamed grass. Like wild beasts of nature they run aimlessly through the prairies. There calls echo off the mountains, and into my ears. There is nothing like an Elk shout echoing in your ears first thing in the morning. They are nature’s alarm clock up in Alaska. Hearing an elk call, for your first time is a wake up call. Listening to the wild sounds of the Alaskan wilderness is comparable to the relief of being safe. The feeling of security and belonging. Unnerving sights of the Alaskan black bear and grizzle bear are bloodcurdling. There is nothing more spine-chilling than the sight of a 500 pound enormous black bear, bolting toward you with one concern on its mind. That concern is food. Bears in Alaska wake from there winter hibernation, late spring and boy are they hungry. Bears have an outspoken record of coming into contact with humans on multiple occasions. This
