The problem with street gangs
Introduction
Hoodlums, thugs, posse’s, juvenile delinquents…are just a few names used in description of youth’s affiliated with gangs.   Though ‘gangs and the media both benefit from the exaggerated portrayals of gangs’ (http://www.ojp.usdoj.gov/topics/yvp_gangs.htm) there seems to be no compassion for the adolescent.   The attempt suggested is to take the street gangs out of the neighborhoods but not to reach them one by one, to understand their reasons for choosing this lifestyle.   Assumptions are suggested that the adolescent may desire to express their hate towards society or were raised in a broken home.   In reality, everything has an origin…a reason for its existence.

                                                                                                  The problem with street gangs
These gangs were seen not only as the bad guys but also, rather to some, as the cool guys.   The type of guy that gets what they want whenever they desired.   In America, street gangs were developed primarily of immigrants....
