And what are the qualifications to becoming a game warden? That is what I will explain in today’s paper. Game wardens are a law enforcement agency for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Parks Service. They patrol for violations and conduct investigations regarding the offenses for both state and federal.
Parole officers are supervising a violent offender population and are being asked to participate in more aggressive activities. Probation, like most important parts of the CJ system has tons of different positions from administration to actual Officers that get to work one on one with the offenders. The issue of probation/parole officers and firearms relates to whether the officer's role is counseling or law enforcement. Although some researchers argue that probation/parole officers cannot perform both roles, little research has focused on the views of the professionals. Many officers want the right to carry firearms.

Keeping the peace means providing a presence at known trouble hot spots for example city centres. A police officer will also investigate allegations of any offence that is put before them. They will use good operational knowledge to decipher if the allegations are genuine and if so, they will report the crime and have it investigated. The police also provide high visibility policing to major events like football matches etc in order to prevent incidents of any criminality. Many police services also set local priorities which largely depend on the needs of their particular area for example, the police service in rural may have a very different set of problems from police services in urban areas.
City police officers are responsible for maintaining order, responding to emergency calls, and dealing with violence, and serious crime. Grant and Terry (2008), suggest that local agencies also take part in processing fingerprints, preventing and deterring crime, investigating violent crimes and property crimes and enforcing traffic laws. County Sheriffs have unique roles because they serve law enforcement (patrolling and investigating crimes), courts (Serving subpoenas and providing security for the courts), and corrections in that they maintain the county jails. The coroner or medical examiner’s roles vary as well because they investigate crime scenes; they conduct autopsies, and determine the
The close proximity to land is a major threat to the harp seals, because they are closer to both natural predators and human commercial hunters. In efforts to protect the seals the Canadian Government has reconsidered laws currently placed on commercial hunting. Gabel’s article suggests the complete shutdown of commercial hunting. This change would have a major impact on the lively hood of commercial hunters. In order to counter balance the extinction of the harp seal pelt
The show Longmire is a law enforcement drama from the cable channel A&E. The show is based around Walt Longmire, the sheriff of Absaroka County in wyoming. He and his 3 deputies are responsible for the town of Absaroka and the hundreds of miles of farm, ranch, mountain land. Every episode they have different cases based on new crimes every episode. Besides having the normal crimes that happen on the average crime show they often have interactions with people from the indian reservation that borders their county. The show has a lot of different dimensions that separate it from the average crime show which is part of the reason I chose to write on it.
Poaching for Endangered Species: Reasons behind it. In addition, the market value for these animals products are also high which then goes to another reason they are hunted, greeds building up in the mind of the poachers and the wildlife rangers that results to bribery. Endangered species are groups of animal that are protected by law. There are several laws that have been adopted to regulate the import, export, and sale of wildlife.

In the natural world, we do not define crime -- even though predators may take the lives of other creatures on a daily basis, and may employ cunning traps and ambushes to do so. We are all familiar with "the law of the jungle", kill or be killed. Fraud exists in the natural world, with protective coloration and patterns that mimic another creature. Many creatures steal from one another. And so on; there are many examples of acts in the natural world that we would not tolerate among humans.
