Unique, unlike any other, the Galapagos Islands prove to be remarkable and worthwhile of exploring in great detail. The Galapagos Islands are not only beautiful, but also consists of some very important features, not found in a similar way in other parts of the world. It seems that all that inhabits the islands affect one another, both alive and inanimate. According to the film, a large part of the reason for why there is such huge diversity on the islands is due to the fact that the Galapagos Islands are located in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. This location is what contributes to the mystifying marine life, as well as the to the different animals living on land. In addition to this these islands consist of volcanic activity unlike any other. In short, this informative, and lovely portrayal of the Galapagos Islands helps their audience comprehend its true essence and natural beauty. What types of exotic animals inhabit these magnificent islands? From penguins to iguanas, to sea lions, there are quite a mix of animals living there. One can wonder how such a variety are able to live together. However, perhaps the native creatures of these islands that I found most fascinating are the numerous birds. Despite its warm location, it still offers pleasant climate and thriving environment that is appealing to birds. Specifically this is found attractive to Galapagos penguins and flamingos. It is usually thought that penguins only live in the Arctic. However the Galapagos penguins are native to the islands, and can only be found in that specific location. It does not mean that they are not fans of the cold. The water that surrounds the islands has a temperature that is cold enough that the penguins are able to survive, even in what would be considered to be tropical setting.
