I really like his outlook on God given talents. He feels that God gave us theses talents we have to glorify him, therefore we should use them as God intended us too. This book helped me grow as a Christian. Just seeing the examples he set for others is one thing that made me realize I needed to do in my own life. Whither I realize it or not people are always watching me.

I believe these personal styles are an accurate fit of my personality. Since affiliative means being cooperative, friendly, and has a genuine concern for others and conventional describes someone who values policies and practices, it fits my personal and work life. While I was college I worked for an optometrist selling eye ware to patients. I realized then that I loved helping people and trying to meet their needs was a challenge that enticed me.

They are also an example for us to improve our learning process in our life. While learning the stories written by Frederick Douglass and Malcolm X, the lessons I have learned from them is to take the advantage of educations that I have received from school, college, professors, and from my friends. Encourage your self-education by yourself, and do not expect from others to force you to learn.
