Working people constantly rely on high-calorie fast foods for lunch breaks or as a quick substitute for a meal for themselves and even the family. Whole Foods found a solution for their problems, through already prepared food. Their, “Whole Kitchen™, Whole Pantry™,” has already prepared meals from entrees, to appetizers, to desserts that are quick meal solutions. With the same quality as any of their other foods they allow for each customer to pick and choose a meal that is delicious with little to no time involved. If you find you have little time in the market but more time to cook the meals, monthly broachers put out by the company offer simple recipes that include all the ingredients and cooking or baking instructions.
There are several different individuals who dine here such as actors, actresses, media, business men and women, large families, and couples. Beth’s office is through the kitchen in the back of the store. The Paradiso’s mission statement is “To build a lifelong partnership of raving guest, associates and stockholders”. Her job is to order supplies, doing schedules, hiring employees, cooking, serving, counting the register at the end of the day and taking care of the store. Beth says her least favorite thing about her job is the turnover never having enough people to run the store. There are times that she has to be the manager and the cook at the same time.
For example those calls might be a reservation, an employee calling in sick, an employee switching shifts, or Bruce our top dog manager who works in Omaha. The paperwork he does is usually business related or it's the "who's who" (sheet of paper that tells the hosts who is all working for the day or night) he's filling out. A regular day for Jared is like a roller coaster ride. Throughout the day, Jared goes to every table to talk to them to make sure their dining experience was excellent. Workers work on commission and some may do anything in their power to meet certain standards, believing that it aligns with Nordstrom’s philosophy. Nordstrom emphasizes that you should make the customer happy to go beyond your limits to satisfy their needs. This could affect the perceptions of the organization. Customers could expect the employees to be available for their every need and tend to things that have nothing to do with the company, which in turn the employee will abide with because they want to make the customer happy. For instance, employees have been known to make restaurant reservations for customers coming in from out of town, they have been known to make special deliveries to a customers house and even send tailors to those who cannot come to the store.
Advertising of fast food keeps costumers wanting more and more. Anytime costumers see the satisfying sandwich, instantly their mouth waters for the taste of it. Local grocery stores and convenient shops have ads and coupons from the local fast food franchises. The coupons increase the costumers appeal to the restaurant because of a possible discount and full belly. The situation is very ironic because the grocery stores with nutritious food advocates for fast food restaurants that are, in context, competing with their sales.

One reason is because it’s priceless being that it is printed out on all our customer receipts. The second reason is because it will bring people back to our restaurant or at least consider it. The final reason is that it will bring customers here during lunch hours. For many restaurants, there slowest hours are during the day so we figure that giving them this coupon to use before 3PM any day of the week will give us busier lunch hours and higher revenues each day of operation. I’ve seen this idea used in many famous restaurants like Cheesecake Factory, Starbucks, fast food places and
