I think it is sad to live in the greatest country in the world and not everyone has access to free or even affordable health care. Some people have insurance; some have government help and some work hard but can't afford insurance. When kids are sick, parents should be able to bring them to the doctor and get medicine. When elderly people need medicines, they shouldn't have to go without them because they are too expensive. I think that if we didn't have so many lawsuits in our country, doctors wouldn't have to charge so much and more people could go to the doctor when they need it. This health care plan does not truly support the needs of medical patients because it focuses on Americans in general, versus the needs of each American citizen. Not only would free health care overload health facilities, but it defeats the purpose of studying to be a successful doctor, since each would receive a flat rate from the government, despite their reputation. The incentive to enroll in this plan is questioned when the difficult labor of dedicated doctors is not repaid respectfully. the government should provide free universal health care because; by doing so we can be sure that our citizens maintain a healthy lifestyle. Health care should not be a luxury. People that are employed are not the only ones that get sick. One should not be punished for being self-employed, or for being in a situation where health care is not provided to them. Free health care should be a given, because not having those medical needs provided, is a worry to a lot of people.
