In this paper will be the description of the interactions between the bio-psycho-social dimensions of development. Psychological characteristics act together with biological and social factors to influence the situation of individuals and their behavior. Their dealings control the possible courses of action accessible to a person at any given time. The interactions between the bio-psycho-social dimensions of development are based on several theories. The body, mind, and family along with other social systems all interact with these dimensions of development. “The body, and its subsystems; the mind in its complexity; the family and other small social systems; society in its different expressions but unavoidably will also be located at the interface between systemic levels” (Sluzki, 2007). Children are at risk early in life because of their experiences from family, peers, and social foundations, such as schools. “Cognitive and emotional processes within children, including the acquisition of knowledge and social-information-processing patterns, mediate the relation between life experiences and conduct problem outcomes” (Dodge and Pettit, n.d., pg. 1). Parenting and life experiences are partially the blame for most of these variables that seems away from their origins. References Dodge, K., Pettit. G. (2003).
