This new taste prompted him to ask his wife what she did differently with the dinner rolls that day. When she replied ‘nothing’, he realized that it was a compound on his hand that provided the sweet taste. He went to the lab the next day and figured out the chemical compound that was on his hand. He had found saccharin. Saccharin was not a ‘big hit’ right away but it proved to be a popular sugar substitute come the sugar shortages during World War 1.
Because sugar sends me on a high then a few minutes later I feel fatigued and ready to lay down. Dessert is just too good to be true sometimes. There is cake, rolls, pie, pastries, and flan. All these things are found at my local restaurant and I have tried most of them. Lemon meringue pie, is the greatest dessert that I have tried at the restaurants.
Ice Cream I bought some ice cream at the store, Ate it all, but wanted more... Got a two-scoop, wafer cone, Nuts and sprinkles, Brought it home... Still I hadn't had enough, Give me more, Cold, sweet stuff! To the store I went again, Got a triple-scoop, my friend... It was gone, My stomach growled, "Give me Ice cream!" Groaned and howled... At the store, yet again, Begged the owner- his name was Ben, "Give me a quadruple-scoop, triple fudge swirl, Make it a double, with a strawberry whirl!"

Yet this story of a couple of days in the life of a teenager has sold tens of millions of copies since its release. There are not many novels from the 1950s that can be found persistently hovering around a top 100 best “insert title here” list. This is a testament to J.D Salinger’s use of universal themes and his accomplished use of symbolism. This is what makes this story gold, relatable to teenagers today and why is should be kept in our curriculum. The Cather in the Rye relies heavily on symbols to demonstrate Holden’s discomfort with his loss of innocence and his rebellion against the adult world.
I know that if you eat too much acidic food than you can get wicked bad heart burn to the point it feels like your heart is on fire. This movie would definitely change how I eat at Mcdonalds!, no more chicken nuggets for me after I saw how they made them. Morgan had started to have very bad chest pains once he started to eat all of the Mcdonalds in one month. It was hard to believe that there were seventeen different Mcdonalds in New York City in that little town. People say that it is Mcdonalds fault for them gaining weight, but what they don’t understand is that they have the choice wether they should eat it or not, or even how much they eat.
Snacking after that would include a sugar free yogurt with another bottle of water. Dinner would include eight ounces of salmon with some vegetables and brown rice with no butter or salt. Top that off with some unsweetened decaf tea and you can rest well that you have had a very nutritious day. Being that I do walk at work so much, I will focus on other exercises to end my day. I am not too self-motivated to work out on my own, so I would head down to the YMCA and join the insanity group and do my exercises there.

After reading the author’s take on perfection and imperfection, it has made me realize that imperfection is beautiful and the greatest things and moments in life are imperfect. I remember last summer, few of my friends and I got together for a movie and some good food. I was preparing the macaroni and cheese while my best friend Dena was preparing the shrimp tempura. I ended up putting cream cheese in the pot instead of butter. We didn’t realize this until after the cream cheese has fallen into a million little pieces.
