Currently experiencing difficult times, the company’s net income was negative $14.6 billion in 2008.Headquartered in Dearborn, Michigan, Ford has 15% market share of the automotive industry. Ford strives to create business value without harming the environment. Other Ford products include Mercury, Lincoln, and Volvo. The company produces hybrid energy vehicles and is in the process of creating more new hybrids. Ford Motor Company designs, develops, manufactures, and services cars and trucks worldwide. As consultants of the Ford Motor Company our job is to analyze the company and find ways to help it survive through the hard times especially in today’s economy. We based our analysis on our intuition and facts that we found in the case and other resources.
