Not only does past contain more calories but it also contains more unhealthy fat. It is also high in sodium. An average human needs a certain amount of salt in their body per day, however when eating fast food the person eats more salt then they are supposed to. Fast food also contains a lot of chemicals and additives that make the food not spoiled or look better. All the additives in our foods have been extensively tested before being added to our food, but it still makes sense to limit the amount of artificial chemicals we ingest.
The local farmers market always has the great fruit and vegetable options that can fit everyone’s budget and still make a delicious meal (“Obesity in America, By the Numbers: NPR”). Stevens Villalon 10/22/2013 EN 101 - Composition 1 Prof. Della Fera “Defense of food” Eating processing food is killing us slowly without our permission. Everyone needs to eat something every day. So, they can be fine all day. If someone does not eat anything at all, it can affect their health slowly. For instance, losing energy, feeling sick, might faint.
Three-Day Food Intake Christina Gates SCI/220 October 22, 2012 Vicki Clithero Three-Day Food Intake The food intake for the three days I wasn’t aware of the amount of lipids that I took in. I just ate and drank whatever to monitor my usual diet. Proteins mostly came from the meat like the chicken patty, country fried steak, teriyaki chicken, bratwursts, eggs, and bacon. Most of everything that I had consumed had some sort of protein in the nutrition facts such as my instant mash potatoes has 2g worth of protein. Carbohydrates were in the sodas, mash potatoes also, toast, green beans, potato salad, bake beans, soba noodles, macaroni salad, and fried rice.
Americans are becoming comfortable with fast food and unhealthy choices. They have become too lazy to work off their bad choices in food so the effects keep adding up inside their body causing obesity. Obesity is the condition of being very fat or overweight. This is caused by the over consumption of food by many people. Most of us don’t have what we call, portion control, so we eat until we feel full causing our stomach to expand.

To achieve her goal and keep other nutrients in balance, she will eat more meat for protein and eat more foods like grits, bread, and fries to balance her carbohydrates. Protein Complete or Incomplete Keneisha’s protein is incomplete because her recommended daily intake for protein was not within acceptable range. This fact is important because not getting enough protein causes her to be tired often. For example since their metabolism tend to burn the food faster they need some type of heavy food but not too heavy so soon their metabolism won’t be able to break it down; which will cause them to gain weight. That was not a good thing to do because it affected my metabolism and energy.
Life in the modern world is full of stress and struggles that are ready to let you down anytime. People are in a hurry, eat fast, work harder and forget how to take care of their health because they are too busy to think of how to eat in a right way. They keep ruining their health by fulfilling their stomach as much as they can. So, many nutritionists advise that people should change this bad eating habit and do simple things, such as eat less and slowly. In the book “Food Rules”, Michael Pollan also lists “Eat Slowly” and “Eat Less” as recommendation for eaters.
Yes, exercise does make a person eat more. However, so long as a person is careful about what they put in their body then they should lose a good amount of their excess body fat. Most athletes exercise far more than normal people and as a result they eat far more. They manage to maintain their weight by carefully monitoring what they eat. The fact that Cloud’s article says he can’t get rid of the excess fat in his stomach tells me he isn’t eating properly and that exercising and not losing it is simply a
