First Rollercoaster Experience

Spring Break at Luna Park What did you do for spring break? Did you have fun? Well, my spring break was almost boring till Friday, the 29th of March 2013. My friends decided to treat me to a rollercoaster ride at Luna Park in Coney Island. I was so thrilled yet scared because I had never been on a rollercoaster. We left home around 9:00am because we live in Far Rockaway which is almost three hours away from the park’s location. We took the shuttle toward JFK, transferred to the Q train and around 12pm, we arrived at final our destination. We started taking pictures immediately. We went to the booth to purchase our tickets for the rides and we decided on the unlimited rides which cost $30 per person. The sales person at the both told us that the ticket was valid for as many rides as we want within 4-hr duration. This means that we could get on any number of rides of our choice within four hours. Little did we know that we were been misled? We got on our very first ride of the day, “the soaring eagle.” It felt like flying with Harry Potter. To get on that ride, we scanned our wrist band (the ticket), climb onto the seat of the ride and got strap in tight so we don’t fall of in mid-air. Then we started soaring, just like the name implies. We went so high up in the air; I thought my intestines would come out my throat. I had to close my eyes for the rest of the ride. After the “soaring eagle,” we decided to go on another ride since we had unlimited ride ticket. The attendant for that ride, a lady, denied us access. She said our tickets are not valid for that ride. We were confused because the attendant at the ticketing booth told us otherwise. This lady then explained to us the use of the ticket we had. She told us that even though it is unlimited, it’s still restricted to certain rides. Apparently, we only had five choices out of over twenty rides in the
