My first day of middle school was on September 6th, 2010. It was one of the most exciting days of my life. I started middle school, which held 6th, 7th, and 8th, grade. I was the "newbie" and the youngest one in the school, so I was filled with a lot of anxiety. I remember exactly what I wore that day; I had my hair in a low curly pony-tail with a french braid in the front, a black blouse with sequins, pinky rosy skirt, and a pair of sandals. My mom drove me my first day of school because I hate taking the bus, so she dropped me off right at the front of the school. I remember walking into the school I had a lot of "first day of school" jitters, not going to lie. But I still managed to have a big smile on my face, ready to start a new year. After waiting in the cafeteria till 7:15 then we were dismissed to homerooms. But the worst part was I didn't know if I was going to know anyone in my class, so I was stressed out that I wouldn't have anyone. Walking into the classroom, I recognized a lot of familiar faces! Yes, they were all guys that I knew but throughout my school years I was friends with mostly guys because I didn't really like girls due to the fact they were mean and lots of drama. So I was really happy that I had friends in my classes, that took a huge weight off my shoulders knowing the school year was going to be fun! That year my schedule had been set to the same thing everyday: Math and Area Studies in the morning then recess, silent reading, lunch, Science, English, and then a special subject at the end of the day. I did some after school activities with my friends like: running club and chorus. All in all, my first day of middle school was a blast and I loved my class and teachers! My Top Five
