First Camping Trip

First Camping Trip Camping is an activity in which people live temporarily in the outdoors. Camping provides an opportunity to experience nature firsthand. Campers participate in fishing, hunting, swimming, plant study, bird and wildlife watching, and nature photography. Just as importantly, camping helps escape the stress of city life. It provides physical benefits when it involves hiking to, from, and around the campsite. It was finally Friday and it was time to go on my first camping trip to Vermont with my best friend and his family. Waking up to the sound of rain pounding against the house dampened our mood for the day. Even though it was raining nothing was stopping us from heading on up to Vermont. As we made our way up the rain just kept pouring as if it was never going to end. After two hours of driving in the pouring rain the clouds gave up and the sun came soaring out shining all the colorful trees. The whole ride up I was picturing a wide open field with a small house on the side. As we pulled up to our spot it was small field with an old school house beside it with a small river behind it. The first thing we did when we got there was set up camp and stack a pile of wood which would not seem to end even with three people stacking it. After stacking the wood and Setting up camp the next thing to do was get the fire going which is probably the most important part about camping. Since I had never set up a fire before I decided to volunteer to do it. It was easier than I thought it would be. After everything has been set up, a luxurious white land rover pulls up to us a sweet little Old Italian women and another richly rich woman with two sweet little dogs. After they shortly arrived I finally got to see inside of this school house that is over 100 years old. For being over 100 years it was still in great condition. Around the
