Everybody remember Franklin Delano Roosevelt as a US President. He was 32nd President of the United States of America. He served as a president more than everyone. He was the only president elected four times which was more than 12 years. He was the only president with disabilities so far in American history. Franklin Delano Roosevelt, most of the people known as FDR. He through us from worst depression as we all knows “Great Depression” and worst war which was World War 2. He made very wise decisions and he tried this best for this country. He told the country, “The only thing we have fear is fear it self” and this was the lesson. Franklin Delano Roosevelt was born on January 30,1882 at the family estate in Hyde Park, New York. Franklin Delano Roosevelt had a nice, secure and pleasant childhood. He had no rival for the attention of his parents. And he had a adult half- brother when FDR was born. During the summer months FDR would travel with his parents to Europe, to the seaside in New England, or to Campobello Island off the coast of New Brunswick, Where he was developed a love for the ocean and sailing. FDR received his education from private tutors until the age of fourteen. FDR’s Aksoy 2 most lasting educational experience was at Groton School in Massachusetts. He attended the Groton School from 1896 to 1900. Reverend Endicott Peabody, which is Groton’s headmaster, suggested the morality of public service in Franklin. He though this would be something that he would carry with him throughout his life. When FDR was at Groton, he was not academically outstanding, or he did not gain vast popularity. FDR had a bad time to fit in but he was only five feet three inches tall, too short for football, baseball, or crew, the only sports that really mattered at
