After the festival was over, my family and I went back to my grandmother’s house and had our family party. Pumpkin carving is a great Halloween tradition, and Jack-o'-lanterns are a traditional welcome for trick-or-treaters. The first thing you will need to do is gather your supplies. You will need a pumpkin that pleases you, but is not too small (some people like their pumpkins low and round, while others like them tall and oval shaped), carving knife (a kitchen knife will work), thumb tacks or nails, baking powder, pen or sharpie, spoon, trash can, candle, newspaper and nine and a half times eleven white paper. Picking out a pumpkin can be a bit challenging.
