Tuan Tran English 101 – 08 Kelly Murray Cause and Effect of Fast Food In the past, people used to eat home-cooking, because it is delicious, healthy and could help communicating among families. However, nowadays, people love fast food which is quick and tasty. Moreover, that’s not good enough for our health. This change has had many effects on human lives. There are three reasons cause people to eat fast food: lifestyle, money, and modern life. Firstly, Lifestyle is a very specific reason causing people run into fast food. “I have had a ton of fast food jobs – it changes your approach to human intersection forever” ( Beth Ditto, Brainy). Indirectly, the changing of lifestyle effects our consumption. People are so busy at work till they have not much time to eat at home. It makes their wives out of need in cooking at home. Thus, women think that they must also work to help their husbands to get money in this situation. However , “Money can buy everything, but not family”. People should be aware of it. Having money, people can buy meals without cooking by themselves. Every day, they come to order food and take away to eat at home. This reduces communicating in family. Less communication among husband, wife, and children, which is the effect of eating in restaurants. And to get more customers, restaurants owners often releases new delicious and unique dishes every season. Human are curious, and they don’t stop coming there. They really want to try new products and different kinds of fast food. However, this change in diet can have some serious effects. One effect is on health. Many individuals in the US are becoming obese. These people will be less productive and have conditions such as heart disease and diabetes. In conclusion, fast food is quick, convenient and tasty, but it can have serious health and social effects. They are less communication, unhealthy,
