Fast food is the term given to food that can be prepared and served very quickly. Fast food sold in a restaurant or store with preheated or precooked ingredients, and served to the customer in a packaged form for take-away. That’s why working people like to consume the fast food. With their busy lives, it is very tempting and convenient to eat fast food on a regular basis. Fast food is literally everywhere. In most cities, it is not difficult to find hamburgers, pizza or fried chicken. In an interview published in 1998, Kelly Brownell, a national expert on weight control, commented that ‘fast food is infiltrating our culture. There are fast food restaurant inside some schools. Malls have food courts. Fast food is showing up on airline flights and airport’. In my opinion, working people more suitable to eating fast food because is to save time. Many people do not have time to eat home cook food because of our non-stop modern lifestyle. There are live in a hurry and have lots to do especially the working people that is more to spend their time to work. So in this case, it is hard to find time to cook a meal. Therefore, fast food appears as a solution for them because it is very easy to save time on food preparation by eating a diet that includes lots of fast foods. Eating fast food helps working people to get to work as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, the majority of fast food is high in calories and salt. But, there are fast food options that are lower in calories and salt. When you are making your fast food choices, try to select those. Perhaps, the greatest advantage is the prices. It is often cheaper than other kinds of restaurant food. Fast food restaurants can provide customers with simple large meal sets and minimal cost.
