As I am sitting on the couch in the living room I start to observe my brother as he was watching a movie. He then gets up and goes to the kitchen to get something. His opening all kinds of cabinets and looking for something he wants. I see him grab a bag a chips and put some on a plate, he then goes inside another cabinet and gets a popcorn bag. My brother then starts to put the popcorn bag inside the microwave and waits there till the popcorn is ready.
They go inside and no one says anything. * “As she glanced around the table she thought at the picture of the first thanksgiving on the bulletin board at school: The smiling pilgrims eating turkey and squash, the stern faced Native Americans looking as if they knew the worst was yet to come.” P.15 * This quote is a metaphor for the people at the table. I think the pilgrims are the children enjoying themselves because they don’t know what is happening or what’s to come. Natale 1 Brooke Natale Professor Thoreson English 101 10 October 2006 Unplugged In Marie Winn’s essay, “Television: The Plug-In Drug,” she states that television once was viewed as something that was positive and brought families together; it now has more negative effects. Winn puts it best when she talks about “early illustration…a family cozily sitting together before the television set, Sis on Mom’s lap, Buddy perched on the arm of Dad’s chair, Dad with his arm around Mom’s shoulder…twenty years or so later Mom would be watching a drama in the kitchen, the kids would be looking at cartoons in their room, while Dad would be taking in the ball game in the living room” (par. 5). There is no such thing as family television anymore.
The less relaxing is listening to kids running around and yelling and then the parents yelling at them. It’s also annoying when drunks are going to their room and singing or laughing on the way its like shut up please I’m trying to sleep. The music in the lobby bar being played on the piano is relaxing. The food taste even better than the way it smells. Everything is made at the resort in the giant kitchen area underground.

His mom always packs him some snacks. By the look of it, it looks like his favorite chip was the cheetoo puff type of chips. It was the baby kind so it dissolved in his mouth. When he ate it looked like he was so happy. He sang and bounced while both hands were holding chips.

It has been researched that the noise that comes from the television keeps kids up at night! The noise isn’t the only problem… the light is too! All the flashing and bright colors distract kids and make them stay up later then they should be. Computers, cellphones, and video games are also very distracting kids stay up all night on social websites on their phone or laptop and talk to friends or post pictures….then they wait, wait for other kids to comment or like it and that keeps them up all night long!
I’m excited about the concert because this will be my first time seeing Fantasia in concert live. Although, we’re sitting in the grass area at a distance I can still see her on a big screen TV. Also, this is the time when our close friends get together and picnic in the park. It’s great too, because some people get fancy and bring their own version on how to picnic while listening to jazz in the park. For example, some bring their own tables, their personal wine glasses with decorative patterns on them, their food in chafing dishes to keep warm, china and silverware to eat with.
If I am not playing football then I am usually just watching movies on my television. I have a large stack of BluRay Dvd's at home so when ever i am not playing football i am usually watching movies all the time, because i have a large amount of DVD's I never get bored and i am constantly buying and adding to my BluRay collection. I know have over 50 BluRay Films. I really enjoy watching BluRay Films it keeps me occupied and I also enjoy watching it. it is very entertaining and it also displays the film in high definition.
