1. Some recommendations that I would give to Dick Enrico to improve his chances of staying successful would be don’t try to do to many things at one time. At times, leaders will become involved in so many projects or ideas that they forget the main reason they are trying new ideas. This also, comes with good organization skills and good time management. Another recommendation I would give to Dick would be once you have made it don’t forget the people who have help you along the way. Sometimes leaders forget where they come from and how they struggled to be successful. They act like they were the only ones that have had it hard and no one else has experienced the same issues as the have had. I would also recommend that Dick gets involved in the day to day operations. People who are involved in the decision making process just helps things flow better. It’s always good to have a different set of eyes seeing things, because people see things differently. Staying involved with your team not only helps build trust but you begin to establish a good working relationship. By doing this you will not only learn from them but Dick will learn from his team as well. Leaders who have a team that is on the same page as will get more productivity out of the team because not only does everyone know what is expected but everyone will want to do a good job. Finally, good leaders set their team up for success. Leaders should not only motivate and direct but they should also make sure that their employees have the tools, training, and adequate equipment to do the job right. 2. The difference in this story about management and leadership is leaders evolve when things are not going their way. Usually when things are at their worse leaders usually step up and shine and show that they are in control. Managers work to get their employees to do what they did yesterday, but
