Factors that affect health Age 0-3 A child between ages 0-3 can be affected by poor income and parents being un-employed because when babies are born they need loads of things to keep them warm, clean, safe. Physically if a baby is brought up with parents that don’t work and have poor income could affect them really bad because a baby is new to this world it needs more comfort than any aged group people therefor it needs a house to live in, food for energy and warmth to stay warm. When a baby is born it needs nappies for its personal hygiene to keep clean, if a parent can’t provide this the baby can become un-hygienic and could catch a rare disease. Because it was born without all of this in the future it could affect it intellectual needs because they won’t have any money to buy books and other school equipment and therefore educational wise they will fail. socially it will make it hard for them to make friends because they might not be wealthier like them and emotionally the child wont get the love it needs from its parents because they are financially struggling and most of the time the mum or dad are going to stay stressed and might become aggressive towards the child and unresponsive, because of their behaviour its most likely the child will get influents by this and later on in life they will find it hard to communicate and interact with others. Age 3-18 If a child is born with a disability cognitive impairment it becomes hard for them to learn when they start school because they will have problems to think, concentrate and form ideas, this will affect them intellectually because they wont be like other children, they will be put behind in education and wont receive good grades and because of this their parents will become stressed and the child will find is it awfully hard as well. They also won’t be able to take part in any mental activity e.g. Board
