Expectations and future dreams Next month I’ll be seventeen years old and for the last four years I have dreamt to become a police officer because I think it’s a very exciting job and I want to help other people. Since elementary school I knew that I must finish high school to follow my dream. Last year in 10’th grade it was difficult for me to go to school because I think it was boring and I was tired of everything concerning the school. I was in doubt that I could pass the exams because of my absence, but I made it! I was so happy and I ended up with very good grades. Because of my absence my teachers decided that I should pass a test to check if I was good enough to be accepted in a high school. A nice summer holiday I found the letter in my mailbox from Tårnby Gymnasium that I was accepted .Now I felt that I was in the right direction to fulfill my dream. I think my class is great because my classmates are so kind and we have a good social spirit. I think they can help me to implement these two years. My biggest problem is to get up in the morning. My bed is very nice to me and it will not let me go. If I can fight my bed and get up in the morning I am convinced that I will make it. One of my expectations for high school is to complete with grades that satisfy me so it will make me even closer to my education. Another expectation is to meet a lot of new people, maybe new friends, so it can make my years much better. I hope I will learn more about myself. I can apply for the police academy when I am 21 years old. In the meantime I would like to take a half-year in the military and then get a job until I turn 21 years. If it’s possible I would love to play handball in my spare time. I have played for six years now and I think that I could be something big if I work hard for it.
