This website seems to be very useful considering it contains all the necessary subtopics (people, life, civilization, rulers, etc.) on my main topic, Ancient Inca. The encyclopedia also gives a good back up for each fact that it states.

The Hero Journey of Captain WThe Hero Journey of Captain Steven Hiller Captain Steven Hiller played an extremely important role in the movie Independence Day, and portrayed a phenomenal example of the hero journey. I really enjoyed this character and thought that Will Smith was an excellent choice for the part. With the action packed thrill that was stuffed in every word it kept you on your feet while still giving a clear understanding of how each character was meant to play out, which in this case was by the hero journey. In understanding how this is connected it is important to carefully analyze every significant example Steven Hiller acts out and compare it to the steps of the hero journey. So, if you look at the three main parts: A)Departure, B)Fulfillment, and C)Return it is fairly easy for virtually anyone to see that Steven Hiller obviously did each of these.
I agree with the Burton raffle because Beowulf is regarded as an epic narrative poem because of its length and its sophisticated style. It deals with the adventures of great heroes against evil, supernatural monsters. We obtain an insight into the noble Danish Royal heritage, which indicates that these Kings are civilized and God-fearing. Lines 1-11 introduce a number of thematic ideas that prove important throughout the poem. He breaks his lines into two halves with a strong caesura, or pause, wherever possible.
How does J.G. Ballard display Jim’s rites-of-passage experience in ‘Empire of the Sun’? In ‘Empire of the Sun’, the author, J.G. Ballard, very effectively describes, with great subtlety and skill, Jim’s transition from a young, innocent 11 year-old into a young man. This novel is well known for many things, but possibly the most well-noted is its rites-of-passage portrayal and throughout many phrases and paragraphs can be extracted that add to this.
By positioning this phrase at the beginning it brings out vivid effects quickly and creating excitement for the reader. The author also described it as ‘the ruined abbey’ suggesting ancient and old, giving a mysterious effect. The verb and adverb ‘stands high’ creates an impressive and dominant effect of St. Hilda. The personification ‘facing every wind’ gives an effect of boldness and fearless. The phrase ‘flung against it’ implies powerful force of nature and sense of admiration by using elevated language.
However, the most outstanding technique used was foreshadowing which was established in part seven: Champagne and Accordions, page 382. “It was the best time of her life.” This line explicitly indicates that Liesel is the happiest she will ever be, the technique also gives the reader a clue as to what may happen further on in the novel. On the other hand, the two towns are juxtaposed in Renaud’s film The Lorax. This technique is spotted near the end of the film, when Ted (second main character) destroys a wall of Thneedsville to authenticate to the local residents that Thneedsville is not a perfect place and that a change of lifestyle and change in awareness is needed. Ted clearly stated “Things are only going to get worse unless we change our ways.” This quote gives a distinct idea that change itself is a broad diversity resulting either in a good or bad

In the end, they managed it together and each of their hopes comes true. The novel is one of the best-known stories in American popular culture. Children like it because it is a kind of good story, full of fun characters and exciting adventures. Adults, in case of its field and history, also like the novel because they can read between. When we concern on the symbols in the novel, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz is no longer an innocent fairy tale, it has underlying meanings that symbolize various ideas of political interpretations as evidenced in its intrinsic unsure and its relation with ironic portraits of America in that era.
