OSHA standards are put in place to help protect and maintain a healthy work environment. OSHA standards will help me progress as a professional, because it has so many different things to read about on ways to prevent hazards and to maintain a healthy work environment for any place I work. I can learn about properly disposing of hazardous material used or just something as simple as following the emergency fire exits. Many things you would think would be common sense, but I believe you can never have too much information on how to prevent an accident in a workplace or stay safe.
