However, wars generally led to very expensive costs to the country. Henry's father, Henry VII, left the country in quite a stable state economically, but Henry devoted most of England's money into his campaigns to take over France, because he believed had a right to the Throne. To some extent source 4 supports the idea that the foreign policy did fail due to the lack of resources, because it states that “the young warrior family accepted the fact that royal finances could not support a repetition of the campaign of 1513”. This quote implies that the lack of resources seems to be the dominant reason for stopping Henry from invading France and therefore source 4 supports the statement to some extent. In source 4 we also learn that much must have depended on diplomatic relations with Maximilian and Ferdinand, however Henry’s allies proved unfaithful and unreliable.

Hardage was familiar with the anti-discrimination policy of CBS, still he did not involve the company in the matter. While making decision that CBS could avoid liability, the court relied on the fact that Hardage was unsuccessful in establishing a factual disagreement with regard to affirmative defense
2 An adver- tisement is generally not an offer. An advertisement is merely a request for offers. The con- sumer makes the offer, whether by mail, as above, or by arriving at a merchant's store ready to buy. The seller is free to reject the offer. | Application of Black Letter Law to Facts: | In the most simple basic form, a contract is formed through offer and acceptance - Since the Raisin Board’s advertisement did not count as an offer being made on their part, Milton’s sending in the $700,000 dollars to buy the points for the jet is not considered an acceptance of an offer.

The Membership of the League had a poor start. First, the idea of the League came from Woodrow Wilson. But the USA refused to join. This left Britain and France, but they weren't strong enough to carry out the duties of the League after WW1. It was often the cases of self interest that these two nations resorted too.
Here I state one of the reasons why he left the Roman Catholic Church: • In the bible it stated that if you were to marry your brother’s wife you would be cursed with no children. However Henry VIII needed a son to take over the thrown when Henry had died – This would not happened though if the curse was put upon them. An economic factor was a large proportion of what made Henry VIII leave the Roman Catholic Church. Economic: anything to do with the money and wealth. Henry mainly left the Church because of his money situation: • Whilst Henry VIII was in a violent war with France, he had run out of money.
They controlled what was known as the “middle” America. Their main forte was the trapping and fur trade, however very lucrative this was not a sustainable business and way to support an economy on its own. Another big reason the French failed at colonizing was the lack of motivation. There was no religious persecution or political unrest in France at the time of New World colonization. As opposed to England who wanted to use the area as a “dumping ground” for religious zealots, the French wanted to tap the fur trade.
By exiling the Huguenots he lost a lot of potential revenue, and the lavish building of Versailles was not cheap. Moreover, he did not have the revenue to keep up his enormous army and after the early 1680’s his success in wars went in a never ending downward spiral. Perhaps if Louis XIV had learned to manage his money better and not gone to war so readily, his subjects would have been happier and he would have had an even more successful reign, but without a doubt he still remains one of the most powerful rulers in
