Eulogy for Willy Newman

I feel it is my privilege to come by and say my last farewells to my father I am Biff Loman, Willy’s 34-year-old son as you know I am a football star in my high school, I loved football ever since I was a young boy even staying outside skipping homework just to practice the sport I love. My father had seen the potential I had in becoming an amazing football player so he supported me all the way through. We would even play together just me and my dad tossing the ball around before supper it was very fun and will be one of my favorite childhood memories. Willy was a great man but I have to admit hes been through some hardship and tough times and I don’t blame him, I know where he is coming from. I have said many times he is a bit of a fake but I did that because I didn’t understand at the time where he was coming from you know sometimes your dad does things that really hurt but you still love him. Now lets move on to some happier times. I always found it funny the way my old man would go kinda crazy, I remember one time he went through a red light and my brother said to me “Hes going to get his license taken away if he keeps that up.” But you know what I told my brother? I told him that “his eyes are going.” Of course at the time I thought dad was just trying to scare us. You never know if dad was getting old or just joking around. Well some of the things he wanted to do. The one thing I noticed about my father despite the fact that he is a really hard worker, in his spare time he would plant seeds into our garden. I always wondered why he would continuously do this but now I know what Willy was trying to teach us its important so he can leave something behind that was beautiful after he died.
