A Miss or Teen contestant must be single and have never been married, never had a common law marriage nor have ever had a child. If the contestant that is crowned Teen Miss Etouffe or Miss Etouffee should marry or become pregnant during her reign, she must relinquish her title to the 1st Alternate. 3. Contestants must not currently hold a festival title to be eligible to compete in these categories. Once crowned Etouffee Festival Queen titleholders will not be allowed to hold another festival title during their one year reign. 4. Miss Etouffee is required to represent the Etouffee Festival at the Louisiana Association of Fairs and Festivals Queen of Queens Pageant held in February. She must also be willing to attend all fairs and festivals as required by the Director. She will receive no salary. At the end of her reign, if she has met all requirements as set out in her contract, she will receive a $1,000 savings bond. 5. Miss Etouffee receives her entry fee and hotel expenses paid to the Louisiana Association of Fairs and Festivals Queen of Queens pageant, as well as one paid parent ticket packet to the L.A.F.F.
