Mainly I want to contribute to the success which will come to an organization where I am working. I have to learn new things. I want to get experience and I want to make myself a good person so that company will say "We are proud of you". —Guest Suraj Why are you a good candidate? I think you should hire me because I am a fast learner, pay close attention for details, and have a willingness to learn and help others.
Another supporting argument of Ethical Egoism is that we always do what we most want to do. Also we do what makes us feel good. In addition, we do things for others to ultimately benefit ourselves. Lastly, it is better to look out for oneself and not interfere with others lives, which sometimes can cause robbery of other’s dignity and self respect. There also are arguments against Ethical Egoism.
However, I am very self-reliant and posses accountability. I am not afraid to pursue something I want and able to take everyone’s thought into consideration, even as I live out what is required of me in the group. My weakness are that I can be tempted to expedience and entitlement. If I am not paying attention I can be easily tempted to base my actions on what is political or advantageous rather than what is right or just. I can also persuade myself that my role in the group gives me special privileges inconsistent with good character.
This student showed a strong positive moral understanding of this ethical dilemma and chose to make the better decision. For me, after reviewing my ethical lens summary, I found that I am a person of autonomy and rationality, which is something that I agree with. It showed me that I am a person that has a strong understanding what is right from wrong. The downside of this is that my blind spot is I can tend to become quite judgmental of others. Values and ethics in an academic organization are issues of extreme importance, and a number of studies have been devoted to understanding the influential factors behind it (Case Study from the Formative Years of the Institute, 2012).
Each instant of a university life has influence on you, and you should learn from that you do and don’t. You should study from any mistake you make. Finally, an educated person is respected everywhere, and I also want to be respected so, if I am accepted, I will receive something useful from the education proposed by
As important as it is to run a successful business, it is also important to remember that we are all human and positive verbal and non-verbal communication can go a long way. Through research articles and examination between positive and negative supervisor-subordinate communication and how it affects subordinates job performance and satisfaction at my workplace I will gather my facts needed to write my research paper. From the Ethical Lens Inventory I have learned that I value equality. I think this is true for the most part because I like to see everyone being treated as equals no matter where it is. I know in some situations like the work place for instance, this is not true. Certain bosses like to choose favorites and let them get away with certain things that others can not get away with. As much as I hate to bring it up; I believe that race has a lot to do with how certain people are treated.
The Ethical Lens Inventory also implies that my blind spot is that I believe that motive justifies method. It says that I may unintentionally cause people upset and pain because I am so focused on my good motive, and that I tend to believe that ethnics is a set of universal rules that everyone should follow, just as I do. I believe that my strengths are that I will always perform my duties to satisfy the goal of my employer on my own and without supervision. I’m not dependent on a team or group. I feel my weaknesses would be that I may come across to others as bossy and everyone will be held
Unfortunately when I based this to my life. I do what I want but I always worry about the consequence at the end, which make not enjoy the actions I did. After she speaks about black heart, I found that very interesting. It stated in the book that you have to act ruthless but not evil. In the first chapter it explains, that even if you do something wrong it is ok, because you need to learn from it and next time do an even better job.
However, I always feel that they won’t learn if not given a chance to try and improve themselves. I tend to also be very confident in my own work. I trust myself first and foremost. I’m not close to constructive criticism or getting help form others. However, I like to be a leader because I feel that at the end of the day, even if I do incorporate the ideas of others, the end results should come from me in order to reassure myself that
