Washington County Community Health Nicole Hopper University of Phoenix Washington County Community Health is a non-profit organization that provides mental health services to individuals and their families in the community. Mental illnesses can profoundly disrupt a person’s thinking, feeling, moods, the ability to relate to others and the capacity to cope with the demands of life. Mental illnesses are not the result of personal weakness, lack of character or poor upbringing, but are a biologically based brain disorder that can affect persons of any age, race, religion or income.
