Also, as long as my decisions fill my principle, I feel totally comfortable in making them. My principle is that the ethical decisions I make must be in my own interest, without causing any harm to the others. Obviously, some may consider this as selfish and not caring for other people. I would not think of it like that, as in reality, we all ought consider our interests before others'. To me it is unethical to betray myself and treat myself worse than the way I should.
What is accountability really? I think accountability is a step beyond responsibility. Being held accountable is saying you will actually do something and now everyone expects it from you because you did not only set your mind to do it you said you will do whatever needs to be done Attitude; Having an attitude can either be a good thing or a bad thing it all depends on how you use it. Moral Accountability As a Result of Choices Are we as individuals morally accountable for our actions if we are forced to make a choice under duress or extreme conditions? People every day make choices under their own volition. While some decisions seem simple and straightforward, others are more complicated when ethics and morality are of concern. We are ultimately responsible for our actions, however, if we are coerced, intimidated or manipulated into making a decision that is contrary to our belief system, our moral responsibility is negated.
