Claudia Delgadillo CJA/324 Ethical Dilemma October 1, 2013 Anthony Carbo Introduction Human behaviors always have been a question about why we do the things we do or the logic reason for our actions. It begins with our principles of Ethics. Ethics is a system of moral principles and the rules of conduct recognized in respect to a particular class of human actions or a particular group, culture, etc. (Dictionary, 2013). Here is a brief story were big ethical issue raises on the action that were taken. Remee Jo Lee, 27, from Florida, and her boyfriend, the son of a fertility doctor, tricked her into taking an abortion pill. Lee has spoken out about her heartache over the termination saying: I wanted this baby more than anything. Not because it was Andrew's, but it was my baby as well. John Andrew Welden, 29, from Florida, faces up to 15 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to giving his ex-girlfriend a pill that caused her to suffer a miscarriage. She was rushed to hospital where she was told she lost the baby. It was there that a doctor saw the pills Lee took and told her they were meant for inducing pregnancy or abortion. Federal prosecutors said Welden never wanted Lee to have his baby even though she was determined to keep the pregnancy and raise the child on her own. After she lost the fetus in the hospital, she went to police an agreed to have her conversations with Welden recorded incriminating him. After, he admits to giving Lee the abortion drug he says: I am just a horrible person, Remee. I'm sorry I ruined everything. His father Dr. Stephen Welden has not been accused of wrongdoing and has not been charged with any crime. Welden was also recorded on jailhouse phone calls threatening to smear Lee's reputation and told Miss Fillinger that she did not have to testify in the case, according to court documents (Daily Mail, 2013).
