Ethel’s Chocolate Lounge Describe the type of consumer buying decision that best describe the choice to indulge at Ethel’s. Cultural factors would best describe the choice to indulge at Ethel’s Chocolate Lounge. Ethel’s lounge is for all people who find chocolate irresistible. Ethel’s will attract me because of its lavish atmosphere and the extravagance of chocolate. Ethel’s is a hang out place where there is a lot of culture. I can get together with my friend and make new friends. Ethel’s is in a fifteen minute driving radius from my home. Ethel’s adapts to the needs that fits the consumer, this will give them a huge profit and please the consumer. In the Marketing, Lamb, Hair, & McDaniel (2010) state, “Culture is learned behavior. Consumers are not born knowing values and norm of their society” (82). Ethel’s’ customers satisfaction is very important to build clientele. Although the prices can be a little steep, I do like the customer service and the product. I do not mind paying more for great customer service and a posh atmosphere and meeting people from different cultural background. Ethel’s is perfect to go all year around; it has so many types of chocolate and chocolate truffles served on a silver platter. Sometimes it can be crowded on Friday nights and it will take at least one to two hours just to get in. I do not mind waiting because I know it will be worth my time. Once I get in to the lounge, I will be greeted with a smile and called by my first name. On Monday, there is coffee of the day and chocolate of the day. I feel very relaxed whenever I am inside of Ethel’s Chocolate Lounge. There are many people from different cultures. Most of the people visit Ethel’s is a middle class to upper class group. Many people come to Ethel’s because it has the best chocolate in town but also its chocolate is rated number one in the
