The use of animals in psychological research Animals have rights as well. But they just can’t refuse to some threat as humans can, they can´t give their consent. Humans certainly have more official rights and this way they avoid being mistreated. There must be a justification as to why animals will be used in any type of research. Animals can´t undergo harmful experiments, these should be planned as safely as the researcher possibly can. According to the Animals (Scientific Procedures) Act in 1986 there are rules to follow in case this living creatures are needed for a research, these include: confirmed animal protection, regulated procedures, licensing of undertakings (personal licenses and project license), suspension in cases of urgency,…show more content…

Of course humans and animals are not the same, you can notice it physically, but animal tests are the most compatible with humans.
