Ways to overcome this would be to have an organizer/planner so I can purchase and get the needed materials for the classes I am taking this semester. If I am having difficulties I should get assistance from the professor or ask students in the classroom for help. College may seem like the hardest obstacle I have come across but with hard work and commitment I will be able to achieve success in any field I dream

“The young may learn from their elders; and the old may learn from the young. To What extent and how is this true on Moses Aaron’s ‘Elijah Greenface’ and Clint Eastwood’s ‘Gran Torino’? Throughout the ages, it has always been that the young learn from the old through their knowledge and wisdom, but in the modern age this is not always so. This may be because of the technological advance handed to the newer generations, which has highly influenced a new way of living. Now it is the young leading the way, embracing and learning the benefits of the computer age, however the elderly can still guide the young, learning about life values and experiences.
Making a right choice for the future education is very important. However, what makes it even harder is deciding whether to attend a community college or a university. Is College Worth It? When graduating from high school one is always face with the question, “Is college worth it”? Young adults and adults tend to fill their brains with negative thoughts that could make them not want to get a higher education. Students attend college either because they want to increase their knowledge, get a decent paying job after college, or they just want to get the “college” experience instead of going on to the working force after high school. As a first-year college student, I pictured college to be a “… place for learning and growth…” (Jerry Faber, 387), but I was slightly wrong. Everyday I stress over earning a good grade in my classes, instead of being driven to learn the material of the course.

Murray states, “The college curriculum demands the students’ most strenuous efforts, so that students who succeed in getting degrees must necessarily have learned how to allocate their time, set priorities, and discipline themselves” (70). I agree with Bartholomae’s views on the subject and his arguments are very valid because he speaks from the status and
