Marriage is by which two people commit to each other, making their union public, official, and permanent. Saudi Arabia women rights are overlooked by society; they do not have the right to their decisions of marriage or religion, due to the harsh laws that were forced upon them. Saudi Arabia culture is defined by its Islamic heritage. The Saudi Arabian citizens are primarily made up of Muslim and Arab. Arabic is the official language in Saudi Arabia and the language that most Saudi’s natives speak. English is also a language that is widely spoken and taught in schools as a second language. Their tradition is based on the act of prayer and revolving around the Muslim traditions. There are a lot of social customs that they are dealing with in Saudi Arabia on the way women are treated throughout society and how they are supposed to act, their belief, or on whom they choose to marry. The woman that married men who are not Muslim can have their husbands visit them with a visa that can only last for two months, and their husbands are not allowed to live in Saudi Arabia even if their wives live there, and they are not allowed to work, own a car or a property in Saudi Arabia. “Her husband was not automatically eligible for a residency permit (iqama). He can visit her in Saudi Arabia on a visa that can be extended up to two months, on which he can neither work nor own a car or a property” (Fahad). There are many difficulties that people in Saudi Arabia have to face.
