According to the things that I have reviewed, I feel that Verizon’s current organizational culture seems to be a clan. In 2011, one of Verizon’s biggest goals was to create a leadership culture to lead shareholder value. With this goal, Verizon shows that they are investing resources and time to creating leadership values by providing ample training in the workforce. I feel that Verizon is heading into the Adhocracy Culture. Also in 2011, McAdam introduced the, Leading Shareholder Value (LSV).
We need to keep an open mind and understand where the other person is coming from. As a team, we need to learn how to reach a common ground and compromise in order for the task to be successful.
