It is not exactly known as to how frequent the concrete meaning of language is thought of. In the specific aspect of language, it has a complicated terminology and interpretation. Language has often been said that it is the defining quality of human understanding (Roitblat, 2007). Language is an important party all human beings life and can be examined by definition of a small group of words known as lexicons.
Historical context pertains to logos, which appeal to the reader’s common sense and beliefs. This tool is important because it brings the reader to feel confident that English has been, and will continue to be, spread across the world. The author states specific examples in history that have promoted language growth and links them to the same factors pertaining to English. Crystal makes his point that "A language has traditionally become an international language for one chief reason: the power of its people- especially their political and military power." (355).
Why having a large vocabulary is good.? Having a large vocabulary isn’t only good but it’s also important. There are so many reasons why it’s so important to have a large Vocabulary. It opens up doors in jobs, schools and it up brings your inclinations. It helps you procrastinate, it sharpens your communication and it tells the rest of the world about your persona.

I would say that my current writing skills are at an intermediate level. I can differentiate between different types of essays, and formats. I can spell any word you put in front of me, for the most part. I would like to say that I am very good at English and language. One of my writing strengths would be structure and information.
Literacy allowed them to conquer foreign lands easily because through writing, they could now have maps, sailing directions, and descriptive reports of previous sailors which would improve their experience. Diamond connects this growth in literacy to the reason behind Europe’s successful colonial power. This is the main reason why they were able to travel, find new places and therefore conquer because Europeans felt they were more superior and advanced because they had literacy. Diamond also talks about the three types of writing which were logogram, syllabary and alphabet. Logogram stood for a word, syllabary was for a syllable and alphabet was for a basic writing.

Although English as a synthetic language could be seen as morphologically limited, there are plenty of different word-forming processes which make the number of possible English words infinite. However there are certain rules to be followed. Words have their own internal structure based on small pieces they are made of. These pieces are called morphemes and they function as abstract, mental, meaning carriyng symbols in our mind.
English and German came into my daily life as time went by. Even though I knew there were many different languages in this big world, I noticed the major differences and varieties in my education. In school I understood there are ways you give and receive languages and how that can affect both my own identity and those around me. If I belong to a particular group, this means adopting the linguistic conventions of that group. If that group has a particular slang, I also tend to adapt that slang with the time.
The League at the time was very powerful, because they had the main European powers- England and France, along with many more countries internationally to support. This means that they had a lot of strength over other countries who did not wish to join. Another strength is that everyone supported the League and wanted it to work. This means that no one was purposely aiming and trying for the League to fail. It had some early success such as land disputes, this made people- and themselves think, that what they have done has worked and made them feel even more powerful.
